Out of the frying pan and into the fire...

How did that happen? There I was, minding my own business, and the next thing I knew, I was picking pickles. I'd never worked on a farm before, I was a city girl. So what was I doing hefting a plastic bucket weighing about 50 lbs filled with itty-bitty cucumbers, breaking my back, and baking in the dry Colorado sun?

Of pies and pickles....remembering Mercy Farm

After seeing the articles and comments posted on the Denver Post website regarding national pie day and some of the recipes for Mercy Farm Pies posted there, I decided to start a blog here for those of us who were part of Mercy Farm as well as those who remember us through our bakery and restaurants.
